Program Manager – Automotive Analog Testing

Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Program Manager to lead initiatives in automotive chip testing with a novel focus on analog capabilities.

This role bridges the gap between traditional digital testing and the increasingly important analog aspects found in modern automotive chips, including high-voltage/current testing relevant to electric vehicles (EVs).

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing complex programs and strong skills in customer and stakeholder engagement, potentially coming from a background at leading semiconductor companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage complex automotive testing programs covering digital, photonics, RF, and analog domains.
  • Develop project plans and schedules for testing chips that control hundreds of volts and amps, ensuring rigorous performance and safety standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to address evolving testing requirements for both digital and analog automotive components.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with customers and stakeholders, ensuring test strategies align with product specifications and industry standards.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to integrate cutting-edge analog testing techniques into existing workflows.
  • Manage program budgets, timelines, and resource allocations while mitigating risks.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineer with a strong background in smart test methodologies and a proven track record in implementing chip features and validation processes. In this role, you will work closely with design teams to integrate Design-for-Test (DfT) features into automotive chips, ensuring that test modes meet stringent quality standards required for automotive applications. Silicon Photonics Test Engineer 

New Iron is seeking a Senior Silicon Photonics Test Engineer to develop test solutions for high-speed SiPh circuits in Data Center and HPC sectors. 

This is a full time, on-site role located in Burlington, Vermont. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) providers to establish a streamlined SiPh test framework that covers both wafer and module-level photonic circuit testing.

- Spearhead projects aimed at defining product test specifications, designing necessary hardware (such as probe cards and interface boards), and developing comprehensive test programs for high-speed circuits (including RF and optical systems).

- Ensure that all work complies with relevant safety, environmental, and security standards.

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience with S-Parameter and optical measurement methodologies.

- Expertise in creating test setups for RF/mmWave and electro-optic components, using platforms like Advantest 93K or Teradyne Ultra-Flex.

- Strong proficiency in designing high-speed, low-noise PCB layouts for electro-optic applications, such as modulators, LiDAR, and multiplexing systems.

- Programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Linux, shell scripting, Python, Matlab/R, and Perl.

- Solid background in silicon photonics and mm-wave circuit engineering.

This position focuses on configuring semiconductor equipment and being a liaison between the equipment technical engineers and software engineers.

 

The ideal candidate has knowledge of front end wafer semiconductor manufacturing, programming experience and an Electrical Engineering degree.

This is an on-site contract position located in Santa Clara, CA.

 

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in MES modeling including object creation and route development and MES functional administration. 

 

Collaborate with us to design, implement, and refine MES solutions that empower our clients to optimize operations and expand their business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance MES  models and business flows to support on-site manufacturing
