FDC Engineer

New Iron is leading the search for an FDC Engineer in Japan to deploy and support our client’s  process control and maintenance software.

Approximately 20-25% travel to fab sites in Japan may be required.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of semiconductor clean rooms and equipment operation.

Responsibilities:

• Support sensor and software integration on semiconductor equipment.

• Analyze data to detect process faults using advanced software tools.

• Offer technical support to customers.

• Assist with process troubleshooting, recipe development, and software installation.

• Identify process improvement opportunities through sensor technology and software solutions.

• Collaborate with account manager on customer needs.

• Conduct product training and troubleshooting on-site.

• Provide equipment installation support.

Should Have:

•  2-5+ years of experience in semiconductor industry 

• Strong understanding of semiconductor processes and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) tools, including Lithography, PVD, and CVD

• Knowledge of ALD, Etch, and CMP 

• Excellent communication skills for building strong customer relationships

• Strong adaptability to solve issues in the field with internal and external customers

• Proficient in solving complex problems analytically

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
