Job Description

New Iron is looking for an Application Engineer to join our client's team at the forefront of the semiconductor industry in Italy.

The role is client-facing and supports the set-up and optimization of smart manufacturing solutions. This Engineer will collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders, managing the full project lifecycle. Experience translating business requirements into SQL code would be ideal.

This role will have remote flexibility once relationships and initial integrations are established.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in SQL
• Gather business requirements and translate to technical specifications.
• Front End Semiconductor Manufacturing process knowledge.
• Concise and skillful communication and presentation.
• Strong time-management skills, able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Fluency in Italian and English.

Plusses:

• Experience gathering data from primary sources, such as the MES and specific tools on the fab floor, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in French or German in addition to Italian and English.
• Experience with Oracle systems.
• Ability to join an on-call support rotation.
